"Look up his history. Musashi is the hero of Japan, yet he murdered innocent men, women and children for money. He was a 'stone killer' (assassin) They despised him when he was alive and canonised him when he was dead. Mark my words, that's what they'll do to me" Count Dante Bio |

Searching for Count Dante | HOME One of the most interesting aspects of this project is the unraveling of fact from fiction. There was talk of Danté being the "World's Deadliest Hairdresser." Well, get this, it turns out it may be true after all. I have been in touch with the editor in chief at Salon Magazine. I know her pretty well as we both worked in the publishing department of a hair school called Pivot Point back in the day(way way back). We are still seeking further info. A lot of hairdressers got their training at Pivot Point. That may end up being a source. The new rumour is that he was truly hot stuff as a hairdresser and that is why he may have been working for Playboy doing the Bunnie's hair(among other things). We are hoping Playboy mag has a few leads we can follow up on Serveral martial artists have told me about his penchant for Playboy Bunnies and say they saw him with them. Now to find one. I do have a few leads. I have a witness to his claims of hanging out in the Playboy mansion in the person of his former lawyer and running buddy, Robert Cooley, a former Chicago cop and lawyer who recently wrote a book called "When Corruption Was KIng." Cooley was a lawyer for the Chicago Mob(the Outfit) working as a bag man for Pat Marcy, a former lieutenant for Al Capone gone superficially legit. We all know about payola in Chicago politics. Dante went to Cooley right after he had taken the bar and was his first case. Cooley defended him in the Dojo War case. Cooley went onto make history in his own right. I have interviews lined up with quite a few people in Chicago and around the country. I will reveal them as we complete the interviews. |
